Dear Angel Fire Property Owners, During my AAFPO work over the past 18 months, I’m honored to have participated in the Board’s pivot away from the lawsuit and back to work, and forged a collaborative and accountable relationship with the Resort. With the demands of my business, family, and health – it’s time to pass the baton to our three extremely qualified board candidates as my term ends. These three professionals are best equipped to continue moving AAFPO forward. I look forward to supporting AAFPO with smaller-scale, shorter-term contributions over the upcoming months and years. You can count on me to continue doing what I love: nurturing people and helping Angel Fire. I’m driven by one principle, leave our world better than I found it. I hope you’ll agree: Mission Accomplished (at least for now). It’s been a busy, action-packed, and extremely rewarding ride. I look forward to seeing you at the Annual Meeting and hugging as many necks as possible. Blessings, Kim May Our next regular board meeting Thursday, June 16, 2022 5:30pm Mountain Time Login: https://bit.ly/AAFPOMeetings Call In (audio only):+1 323-792-6282,,543694939# Phone conference ID: 543 394 939# The 2022 Annual Meeting will be in person and held at the Angel Fire Resort Lodge, with a party on the deck immediately following. All candidates were vetted by the AAFPO Election Committee and then certified by the Board on May 12th. These candidates are running for the three open seats and each will serve a three-year term. The candidates are (in alphabetical order by last name): Kristen Devlin Michael Martin Erik Sevigny Click on the following link to read about each candidate and their responses to the Information for Voters section of the applications they submitted. This will give you some insight into their backgrounds and topics they feel are important to the membership and community. Board Candidates – AAFPO WIN A BASE MEMBERSHIP In order to encourage voter participation, AAFPO has historically offered participation in a lottery, when a quorum is reached. Every complete ballot cast will enter the voting member to win a payment equal to a base membership. Two winners will be selected. BYLAWS Also on the June Ballot will be a vote to modernize our AAFPO Bylaws. I want to stress the importance of your vote. We must have a quorum (10% of members) to vote on the candidates and Bylaws in order to install the candidates and instate the Bylaws.
